Hogar Hermelinda Project
The Peruvian Outreach Project has rented a house in the Morales section of Tarapoto near the Aldea Infantil Virgen del Pilar to initiate this special project dedicated to the memory of Hermelinda Reátegui Villanueva, a beloved friend and mother at the aldea whom we lost to COVID in 2019. She was a blessing to all who were lucky enough to know her.
Currently it is an empty building but soon this will be a safe and comfortable home for young women who otherwise would not have had the opportunity to continue their studies after high school. They are our future and we look forward to watching them achieve great things. We already have a potential participant. But first we have to make this house a home!
We are grateful to accept donations to make this dream become a reality. Thank you all for your continued support.
Thank you Ten Thousand Villages & POP Shoppers!
